Our Fort Moultrie Flags are constructed of durable nylon for long-lasting color outdoors. Finished with a heavy-duty canvas heading, solid brass grommets, and four rows of reinforced stitching on the fly end, our flags withstand the most extreme weather conditions. Flag reads correctly on the front side and design shows through in reverse on the back side. Made in U.S.A.

This flag was flown over the Fortifications on Sullivan’s Island, South Carolina, as they battled a British Invasion. When the flag fell during the course of the battle, it was lifted by Sergeant William Jasper, who held it until a new flagstaff could be improvised, claiming, “We cannot fight without a flag.” But they fought valiantly with the flag, fending off the British fleet and telling their commander, Sir Peter Parker.

This decisive battle was the first British loss at sea in years, and prevented them from the capacity for a Southern invasion for a long while afterward. The flag was enhanced with the bold word “Liberty” to reflect the dreams of the Colonists.

Most orders ship within 1 business day. Please allow 7 to 10 days for delivery on some of the International and Historic flags as well as some Specialty and State flags. Shipments on orders received after 1pm may be delayed until the next business day.

Most orders ship via USPS Priority or Speedee for local deliveries. UPS or FedEx shipping is available upon request; however, additional fees will apply to orders shipped via UPS or FedEx. We do not ship to destinations outside the United States. We will email the tracking number once order is processed.

Returns

You may return any item for any reason within 30 days of receipt for a refund, exchange, or credit. During the holidays, items purchased between November 1st and December 31st can be returned until January 31st. Shipping, handling, and all other fees are not refundable.
