I live in Chandler Arizona and put up a 20' pole last fall and purchased a revolving truck for the top but it's no longer rotating freely. It will move if I yank the rope to one side or the other but it's not rotating when the wind blows the flag. Obviously it rarely rains here and snow is out of the question but dust and very high heat are a constant. I'm looking for recommendations to lubricate the truck and how frequently I should need to do it.
We recommend applying a silicone-based lubricant to the truck's ball bearing. It is likely that annual lublication may be necessary due to the dusty air and dry environment in Arizona (very different from our weather conditions here in Wisconsin).
